Community Development Summit Update: Creating Great
Indy Neighborhoods
October 20, 2005
After a year of work, the Community Development Strategy Group has taken
the ideas from the summit and two subsequent community forums, the best
of local neighborhood improvement practices, and lessons from other
communities to create a draft action plan. The draft action plan calls
for more community connectedness, new skills for community development
practitioners, and an improved model for holistic community planning. On
October 20, you have the opportunity to add your ideas to the plan.
