Collaboration, Working Together Across
Boundaries: The whole IS equal to more than the sum of the parts

This forum featured
Dr. Susan Lloyd, Director,
Building Community Capacity for the MacArthur Foundation. She is the
author of “Collaborating for Change in Chicago” and the current program
officer for the New Communities Program (Chicago’s comprehensive
community development initiative). Ms. Lloyd’s focus also includes work
to improve low-income neighborhoods and assist with the transformation
of public housing. This forum will also included a panel of local
leaders discussing how they put comprehensive community development
ideas into action. This discussion was followed by time for participants
to ask questions of Dr. Lloyd and the local panelists.
